The Sunshine Coast Power and Sail Squadron is a unit of the Canadian Power & Sail Squadrons– Escadrilles canadiennes de plaisance. As an organization, we promote safe boating and provide approved boating courses for all levels of boating enthusiasts. We also provide an active social network with events throughout the year.

What: An in-person vivid presentation of an extraordinary trip from Vancouver to Haida Gwaii.

Plan to rendezvous at Cooper’s Green at 1100 hrs. Bring a picnic lunch!
Lunch will be followed by a boat trip to Buccaneer Bay on North Thormanby Island for a swim (the white sand is spectacular).
Come by boat or come by land — launching facilities are excellent and it’s free with ample parking. If you haven’t a boat – catch a ride to Buccaneer Bay. Cooper’s Green does not have a dock – anchor in the sandy bottom. Don’t forget your bathing suits!
Note: There are no washroom facilities at Buccaneer Bay, hence the picnic at Cooper’s Green.
